This year’s Foundation Division features six 3-year-old BLM mustang geldings — all starting as blank slates, ready to be gentled and taught the skills they’ll need to succeed in adoptive homes. Some may even take their first steps under saddle!

We’ve got a mix of familiar faces and fresh new talent, and we’re so excited to see what these trainers accomplish with their mustangs!

Team Thunder – Carter Nesland & Thunder

Team Dewey – Alexis Louis & Dewey

Team Forrest – Shaylin Lathrop & Forrest

Team Kelvin – Jade Thompson & Kelvin

Team Onyx – Jay Westerbur & Onyx

Team Twister – Beth Stahlecker & Twister

We can’t wait to watch these partnerships grow over the next few months. Let the gentling begin!
