Meet Vixen – 2025 Dakota Showdown Horse Trainer Challenge

Vixen is a 11-year-old, 14.3h chestnut mare with plenty of chrome and plenty of talent! She’s spent the last 100+ days in training with Annika Greaney of Red Line Equestrian, and in that time she’s shown just how versatile and capable she is.

Reserve High Point winner at Intro Level Dressage

 Grand Champion in Low Jumpers

Participated in a 2-day ranch clinic and show, where she dragged a log and had a rope thrown off her

Successfully navigated tarps, pool noodles, water, bridges, and moving obstacles

Rides both English and Western, moves off leg, and has solid basic lateral work

 Easy to catch

 Loves attention

Stands to be groomed and bathed

 Good for farrier

Loads in both step-up and ramp trailers

Vixen is a sensitive, soft-mouthed mare who’s ready for her next partner—whether that’s trail riding, competing in the show ring, or both!

Available at the 2025 Dakota Showdown Finale – August 23–24 in Yankton, SD

You do not need to be present to bid. Delivery can be arranged within eastern SD, eastern ND, and western MN.
