From Trainer Arryanna Schnetzer :

My original goal today was to introduce Dove to a saddle but plans changed. Dove would not let me approach her with or without a halter in hand. After an hour of trying to get her I changed my plan. Try to get her to let me touch her. I was able to get to her shoulder and pet her. I called it a night there. Here is a little snippet of approaching her. Hopefully tomorrow we get a halter on her. Sometimes theres good days and sometimes there's bad, in the end she's a sweet mare and will do amazing!

Dove will be available for adoption at the Dakota Showdown Finale on August 23, 2026 in Lennox, South Dakota. Check out [http://dakotashowdown.com](https://dakotashowdown.com/) for more info.
