I'm starting to think about our showdown freestyle and figured I'd better starting seeing if I could teach Frannie some tricks. Just messing around one evening, I taught her to touch this traffic cone. She got really good at it in just a few minutes. It's a human-run treat dispenser
The 3rd time doing it, she's able to do it at liberty in the pen (until she got bored and wanted to make sure the feed buckets were licked clean). She's so smart and willing, and has really become affectionate and seeking attention lately.
I am treating her for a fungal infection on her neck, where she unfortunately rubbed a chunk of mane out. Fly spray and hoses are a no go, but she seemed to enjoy a sponge bath and let me wash and scrub her neck and mane with no problem.
