HORSES & PONIES WANTED / Help Us Help Your Horse
Due to a large amount of adoptions at both Gentle Spirit Horses Rescue and Little Hooves Mini Horse Rescue this winter, we are low on prospects for the 2024 Dakota Showdown. Do you have a horse that might fit the bill?
We are looking for:
- Horses & Ponies between 3-15 years old
- May be minimally handled but prefer that they can at least be haltered and have an idea of giving to pressure
- Must be able to load into a trailer though can be run in
- Must be sane enough to accept training and not dangerous
We have limited availability for horses that are ready to be ridden or have been ridden in the past and are in need of a refresher.
All horses and ponies must be transferred to Gentle Spirit Horses Rescue and will be available for adoption after the Showdown. A nominal buyout fee is available for prospects.
