Luke made me proud today! 
We spent some time working in the round pen, and I got him in there using only a rope around his neck. Thinking back to where he started, the progress he's made is incredible.
We worked on walk, trot, and canter transitions, and he's getting more responsive to my cues every time. After that, we practiced walking together, backing up, and turning—all without a halter. We wrapped things up by working on picking up his hooves.
It's days like today that remind me how far we've come together. Good job, Luke!
