Day 1 of working with Maysilee!
Today I got to work with Maysilee as a part of the showdown! she is one of the donkeys that is included in the Dakota showdown that me and Haley are going to be working with.
we worked on basic touch and leading today. after I got her into the pen she was really good. I walked up to her slowly as I then began to comb her getting as much extra fur off. I'm hoping that she enjoyed it as it is getting hotter outside and that extra fur must be hotter. after that I put the lead rope on her using the pressure and release method until she did good ending it on a good note!
