From trainer Beth Stahlecker: It has been an absolute dream of mine to just be around a mustang ever since I found out you could actually bring one home. Without getting too sentimental or sappy, I'm a bit in awe of fact that I have one in my pen to train all summer. I've got one more super busy week, then school is out and my schedule frees up a bit, so I'm trying to be patient about my limited time with Twister right now. We're working on communicating through pressure and release, being aware of his comfort level and letting him find more space or walk off. I got his tag off today and he got scratches all over his shoulder and side. I like his engagement and willingness. And his mane!
