Day 29 with Vincent
Vinny got legs today! Well sort of. Today was all about getting used to dragging tarps and stuff on the saddle. I put legs on the saddle to mimic myself riding him. Vinny never cared once about them and handled it great. Then we moved onto dragging a tarp. He was great to the left but was a little nervous about the rope touching his legs in the right. No spooking or breaking in two but just not so sure about it. After a few minutes of going around he learned it was nothing to be cautious about. I do these things to prepare a horse for riding and to help them build confidence with things around them. After that we ended our session with some pole work to help build up his top line and muscle. He looks good now but just wait until August
