What an incredible weekend we had at the Dakota Showdown! Thanks to our amazing trainers and the support of adopters, all five of our Showcase Division horses — Cocoa, Dewey, Eloise, Smokey, and Vixen — have found their forever homes. 
That leaves us with five special horses still looking for their people:
Felix – Rising Star yearling gelding, curious and thoughtful, ready to learn and grow with the right person. (Located at the GSH facility near Scotland, SD)
Ivy – Rising Star yearling filly, strong, confident, and brave — she’s got presence and plenty of flash. (Located at the GSH facility near Scotland, SD)
Onyx – Foundation Division 3-yr-old BLM Mustang gelding, eye-catching and playful, with a solid start on his basic skills. He loves people and seeks attention, making him a fun partner to bring along. (Located at the GSH facility near Scotland, SD)
Twister – Foundation Division Mustang gelding, a long-legged, flashy boy who enjoys learning. In addition to his solid foundation, he’s accepted a rider and is just beginning under-saddle training with his trainer Beth. (Located near Sioux Center, IA)
Forrest – Foundation Division Mustang gelding, smart and quick to learn. He’s catching up fast and making up for lost training time with his trainer Marlee. (Located near Fargo, ND)
Adoption incentive: Trainers receive a 50% split of the adoption fee if these horses are adopted by September 30th — after that it drops to 25%. Finding homes this month helps both horse and trainer move forward!
Meanwhile, Kelvin remains at the GSH facility continuing his training, and Thunder is with his trainer Carter in the Long Haul Division — both will be available once they’re ready.
