Meet Thunder – For the Experienced Mustang Handler Who Loves a Challenge
Thunder is a 3-year-old BLM Mustang with a mind as sharp as they come. He learns fast, thinks even faster, and thrives on liberty work and problem-solving games. While he’s become more engaged and willing during his time with trainer Carter Nesland, Thunder still maintains a personal “bubble” and needs time, patience, and skill to let someone inside it.
He is not a candidate for just any adopter — we will only consider homes with extensive mustang experience or proven advanced training skills. His ideal person will respect his independence, continue building his confidence without force, and help him take the final steps toward becoming a fully connected partner.
The right match for Thunder will know that the best partnerships take time — and be excited for that journey.
