Here’s a little context. Unfortunately for Cocoa, his showdown partner is a full-time working mom with several horses and far less time than she planned on. In this photo, Cocoa had just been pulled from the pasture after several days off. With no prep, he went for his first ride down the road to meet a friend. Here, he’s tied to a trailer in a neighbor’s yard while we finished getting the other horse ready.
All of these seemingly insignificant skills and experiences add up to a partner who is truly enjoyable to be around.
