Team Smokey- August 6, 2025 - Update!

Smokey update! We are only a little over 2 weeks away from the showdown! Smokey has all of the basics down and now just needs more miles and experience. Here is a list of his current skill set:

 

lunging and starting to free lunge

stands tied and stands for farrier and baths

ground ties

hobble trained

stands for mounting

wtl both directions

amazing stop

goes over obstacles

 

Smokey is going to make an amazing horse for an experienced youth or smaller adult, he would be an amazing 4h or fun night pony. He rides very soft and moves off your seat. Not currently a beginner pony but with more work and experience he could be! Get your adoption applications on to come see him before the showdown!!
