We’re excited to introduce another 2026 Dakota Showdown Showcase team—Carter Nesland and Dice!

 

Carter joins us from Rapid City, SD, and brings a thoughtful, steady approach to his training. He’s looking forward to building on Dice’s foundation this summer and continuing to develop him into a solid, well-rounded partner.

 

Dice may already be familiar to some of you. This 13-year-old Paint gelding previously competed in the Foundation Division, where he took home the championship before being adopted by his trainer. Now, he’s back—stepping into the Showcase Division and looking for his next home. 

 

With a solid foundation already in place, Dice will spend the next few months continuing his training, gaining experience, and refining his skills with Carter. His return to the Showdown is a great example of how these horses can continue to grow and evolve over time.

 

We’re excited to see what this team accomplishes together.

 

Dice will be available for adoption at the Finale on August 23, 2026 in Lennox, SD.
