We’re excited to introduce another 2026 Dakota Showdown Showcase team—returning trainer Bryan Roselles and Twister!

Bryan joins us again from Rapid City, SD, where he works with younger horses on their path to becoming bridle horses. He describes himself as a buckaroo and enjoys putting a solid foundation on horses through real-world experience. This will be Bryan’s third year in the Showdown, and he’s no stranger to the finals—earning Reserve Champion titles the past two years.

Twister may look familiar as well. This 4-year-old BLM Mustang took home the Foundation Division Championship in 2025, and is now stepping up into the Showcase Division. With a solid start and a few rides under his belt, Twister is ready to continue building his confidence and skills this summer.

 

Over the next few months, Bryan and Twister will be putting in the miles—riding in the Black Hills, working cattle, and gaining the kind of well-rounded experience that helps create a reliable partner.

 

We’re excited to watch this team continue their journey together.

 

Twister will be available for adoption at the Finale on August 23, 2026 in Lennox, SD.
