Happy April!!! Applications are in and this week we are interviewing potential trainers. We had applications from both North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Wyoming and Nebraska this year!! Stay tuned as we announce this year's trainers on April 15!
In the meantime - we are looking for sponsors! The Dakota Showdown is run by Gentle Spirit Horses Rescue which is a 501(c)3 and volunteer run, so all of your sponsorship goes directly to the event and to create a lasting impact not only to the trainers and horses involved, but to the Yankton community as well as horse welfare throughout the state!
Sponsorships start with a $150 banner sponsorship on up and help us keep the event free, the dinner low cost, pay for the expenses associated with the horses, help us secure amazing judges and provide cash prizes to entice the best possible trainers! All sponsors will receive banner recognition at the event finale, on our website and social media and in the event program!
