Team Twister July 1, 2025 - Update!

From trainer Beth Stahlecker:

Week 9 (already?!? Where did June go??) Twister is continuing to come along. We've been working on leading. He can be very soft, he understands pressure and can be very consistent... but he has gotten away from me when we're out in the bigger pen. I'm chalking it up to a bit of baby brain, checking limits and feeling claustrophobic. He let's me catch him right away once he stops. He will follow me around nice and soft, yields hindquarters and shoulder, and when he gets anxious, after running the fence a bit, he will come into me for reassurance. So overall I'm quite happy with how things are going. He also got to meet my friend and showed it made him a bit anxious. He came around quite nicely though. Hoping the mud dries out a bit to work more in the big pen!
