Today we'll be sharing all of the initial posts the trainers have posted as their horses arrive and settle in.
Trainer Jade Thompson of Double J Training & Horsemanship was originally matched with Eliana, but Eliana came up lame at pickup. Jade was kind enough to accept Hazel as a substitute! Hazel is an approx 12-yr-old Morgan mare who participated in the Showdown last year but was very anxious at the Finale. She has a solid Foundation but will benefit from further riding and confidence building this summer with Jade - AND Hazel has shown that she really likes children so we're excited to see how she is around Jade's daughter! #showdownteamhazel will be fun to watch and hopefully this is the year she'll find a home!
